Lowering a Car
Decided to make a couple of Car Manipulation Tutorials, I'll be making a few over the next couple of weeks as people have been asking for them.

OK, so after a few requests i'm finally going to do some tut's on creating something like this:- Click Here

First thing we need is (think about it) that's right! A Car

OK next we need to take the polygonal lasso tool or the pen tool (I prefer the pen tool as it does a much neater job) and start to draw around the bottom of the car and around the top of the picture like shown in the picture below.

Next hit Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste the car onto a new layer. Then holding down ctrl press the down arrow and watch in amazement as the car begins to lower over the wheels.

Notice the gaps that appeard at the bottom of the arches? Just fill them in with the closest colour around them, and that's you!

How easy was that!!!

No offense... but It was kind of obvious that you had to do that... All of it was common sense.  Undecided

It isn't commen sense to new comers. A lot of tutorials will be "commen sense" once you've used the program. It's only commen to those who have been using Photoshop for a while. I.E. Not the people who are looking for tutorials.

Well, it doesn't work for me.
Tell me please what I do wrong.
I have a CS3.
Here is the picture who shows where I am.
I opened a new layer, I pasted it but it doesn't work.
Remember that I'm new.
Don't take me to hard. Step by step if possible.

What seems to be the problem? It won't paste onto a new layer?

if you find that Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V isn't working, then goto Edit>Copy then goto Layer>New Layer, then Edit>Paste. That should work.

I still use CS2, but see no reason as to why a simple copy and paste won't work.
