Here is an example of what we will be making.


1. Make a new doccument, size doesn't really matter.
 a. Set your forground color to FF0000.
 b. Grab the horizontal type tool and type whatever you want.

 c. Right click the layer and choose Rasterize Layer.

2. The first stroke.
 a. Set your forground color to 650000
 b. Control + Click the layer to set a marquee around it. (Command + Click on Mac).

 c. Edit > Stroke with these settings.

 d. Press Control + D to deselect the layer. (Command + D on Mac).

3. Additional strokes.
 a. Set your forground color to 950000.
 b. Repeat step 2b through 2d with your new color.
 c. Set your forground color to B50000.
 d. Repeat step 2b through 2d with this color.
 e. Set your forground color to E50000.
 f. You guessed it, repeat step 2b through 2d with this color.
 g. Do this as many times as you want, with as many different colors as you want.

4. File > Save

Finished!

it did it the right way, 2 suggestion, get a new text for one, and second try to stick with a certain range of colors, unless you want a rainbow gay thing going, it will look MUCH better if you stay like within a certain color range like from orange-dark red or something to that effect..
