[h1]Selective Color[/h1]
This tutorial was inspired by the graphic novel and movie Sin City.
Here is an example of what we will be making.

1. Open you image.
a. Make a new layer and title it Selection, set the opacity to 50%. (For darker images, you may need to lower the opacity even more).
Screen Shot b. Using a bright color, opposite of the color you want to keep. Paint over the area with the color you want to stay colored with a hard round brush.
Screen Shot2. Black & White.
a. CTRL + Click (CMD + Click on Mac) the Selection layer. Select > Inverse
Screen Shot b. Select the picture layer. Image > Adjustments > Desaturate
c. Clear the selection, hide the Selection layer.
3. File > Save...
Finished! Thats it, you're done.
