[h1]Scan Lines[/h1]
Here is an example of what we will be making.

I chose a random image I found in a yahoo.com search.
Click here for the original image.
1. Open your image.
2. Make a new layer.
a. Edit > Fill 100% White (FFFFFF).
Screen Shot b. Place the layer on top of the other. Title it Scan Lines.
3. Make a new doccument, 3x3 pixels with a White (FFFFFF) background.
a. Select the pencil tool, set it to 1 pixel.
b. Zoom in to 1600%.
c. Set your forground color to Black (000000)
d. Draw a straight horizontal line in the center of the canvas.
Screen Shot e. Save as lines.psd.
4. Back to your image.
a. Select the Scan Lines layer.
b. Filter > Texture > Texturizer > Load Texture > lines.psd
Screen Shot c. Use the default settings.
5. Open the blending options for the Scan Lines layer.
a. Set it to Multiply.

Finished!
NOTE: If you want the lines to be more defined, add more Relief when texturing the Scan Lines layer.
