[h1]Simple Tech Border[/h1]
Here is an example of what we will be making.

1. Open a new doccument. Any size will do.
 a. Make a new layer and call it Border.
 b. Select the Polygonal Lasso tool and go nuts. Hold shift to draw straight lines at 90, 180, and 45 degree angles. I like to keep all the angles matching, it makes it look a lot cleaner and more mechanical.
 Screen Shot
 c. Invert your selection. Select > Inverse
 Screen Shot

2. Filling the selection and retouching.
 a. Make sure your Border layer is selected, Edit > Fill 100% Forground color. I used 1B4673.
 Screen Shot
 b. There might be places where you want to remove a little more, or make a window. Simply grab your Polygonal Lasso tool again and select the area you wish to remove. Press delete.
 Screen Shot

3. Adding the styles.
 a. Now that you have your border filled in and retouched, we can add the styles. Open the blending options for the Border layer.
 b. Outer Glow. I used 2B5A8E
  Screen Shot
 c. Inner Glow. I used 2B5A8E
  Screen Shot
 d. Satin. I used 1B4673
  Screen Shot

4. File > Save...

Finished! Thats all there is to it.

Awesome tutorial. One question I've always had about your tutorials, though. Why do you link to the images rather than using [img] tags?

Because a lot of the screen shots are large, they will make the page load slower.
