[h1]Manipulation Basics - Color and Lighting[/h1]
Here is an example of what we will be making.


Preperation:
Click here for the photograph of the person I used. -OR- Click here for the photograph I manipulated in the previous tutorial.
I added a couple more holes to the final image.

1. Open your image. Coloring.
 a. Click the Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer button on the bottom of the layers pallete. Select Color Balance.
 Use the following settings:
 Shadows:
 Screen Shot
 Midtones:
 Screen Shot
 Highlights:
 Screen Shot

2. Lighting.
 a. Make a new layer and call it Lighting.
 b. Open the Blending Options for the Lighting layer. Set the mode to Soft Light.

 c. Set your forground color to Black (000000). Select the Gradient tool with the following settings.

 d. Starting from the bottom right corner, click and drag upward to the left corner. Stop at the center of the image.

3. File > Save...

Thanks. My Dad suggested I give her messy hair... but thats a very advanced tutorial that requires a great deal of skill with the clone stamp, I don't think the average good-tutorials kid is going to be able to do it.

If you guys want me to do it, I'll try... but I don't know if I will or not lol. It will be a very long tutorial of me explaining everything.
