Here is an example of what we will be making.

Preperation:
You will need to download a set of grunge brushes for this tutorial. Below is a link to the thread where you can download the brush set.

 a. Set your foreground color to White (FFFFFF). Select the Rounded Rectangle Shape Tool .
 b. Click and drag to make a new shape. Optional: hold shift to make it a perfect square. Title the new layer Base.
 Screen Shot
 c. Open the Blending Options for the Base layer.
  i. Drop Shadow - Screen Shot
ii. Inner Glow - Screen Shot
  iii. Satin - Screen Shot
iv. Color Overlay - Screen Shot
  v. Gradient Overlay - Screen Shot

2. Scratches.
 a. Make a new layer, title it Scratches.
 b. Open the Blending Options for the Scratches layer, set the mode to Multiply.
 Screen Shot
 c. Set your foreground color to CDCDCD. Select the scratch brush, it's 1000 pixels.
 d. Control + Click the Base layer to make a selection around it. Make sure you still have the Scratches layer selected. Do some random clicks. One or two should be fine. Just click, don't drag.
 e. Your shape should now look something like this:
 Screen Shot

3. Blood.
 a. Make a new layer and title it Blood Under.
 b. Open the Blending Options for the Blood Under layer. Set the mode to Color Burn.
 Screen Shot
 c. Control + Click the Base layer to make a selection around it.
 d. Select from any of the splatter or drip brushes in the set. Again, random brushing. Remember, just click, don't drag.
 Screen Shot
 e. Duplicate the Blood Under layer, title it Blood Over.
 f. Open the Blending Options for the Blood Over layer. Set the mode to Linear Burn.
 Screen Shot

4. File > Save...

Finished! Thats all. Now you can go make a cool template. Click here to see an example of a template I made with the same techniques.

Yeah that is weird. I saved the set in PS7. It should be compatible with version 7 and all versions after it.

Ok, well I have figured out that the problem is caused by either the forum or the server. Contact me on AIM as UnDeRDoSe09 and I will send you the file.
